Ivan Larson – Dancer

Ivan Larson is a dancer, choreographer, DJ, teacher, and director of his own dance school in Geneva. His unique style is influenced by his experiences in African, Hip-hop, and contemporary dance. He has participated in numerous events, notably as a finalist in the Juste Debout Suisse House in 2017 and as a choreographer for the Afrodyssée fashion show. In addition to being the co-founder of the Hip-hop Caractère company and the president of the association On Est Ensemble – Suisse, he was a member of the junior company Le Marchepied during the 2015-16 season, a member of the Neopost Foofwa company in 2016-17, and assistant choreographer for the urban company ZUP in 2017. Larson also taught at the Contemporary Music Academy in Beijing in 2017. In 2022, he danced with the Cie Gilles Jobin in the real-time performance Virtual Crossings Le Plaza in Geneva. He also works with the company on the hybrid project RESET! Beasts and Demons and for the VR project SUNSET MOTEL, an ongoing collaboration under development between Gilles Jobin and Thomas Ott.
